PV5 Nomad kit
A camper kit for the PV5 Passenger that keeps all five seats. The boot becomes a lounge, the kitchen slides out at the back, the bed is on the roof, and the van itself supplies the power.
Drive mode
Everything packs away. The drawers slide in, the table stows and the tent closes to 30 cm. Five people ride in the factory seats, with luggage in the aisle between the benches.
Roof bedroom
The roof tent is the bed: 2.1 x 1.5 m for two adults, with about 1 m of headroom and a ladder to its door. The bedding stays inside it.
Boot lounge
Behind the second row, two drawer benches face each other across a pedestal table, seating up to four with about 1 m of headroom. It's a dry place to eat or play cards when the weather turns.
Slide-out kitchen
The open tailgate is the awning. Under it, the kitchen drawer slides out on the right and the fridge on the left, either side of the lounge entrance, and a wing folds out to double the worktop.
Power from the van
The kit has no battery of its own. A fused power strip plugs into the PV5's interior V2L outlet, which gives up to 3.6 kW at 230 V, and runs the fridge, hob and lights.
Fresh air and access
A mesh screen over the sliding door lets air through the cabin and keeps insects out. The ladder at the rear of the right side leads up to the tent.
