Vienna, May 2026
Bulgaria's Dara performs Bangaranga at the 70th Eurovision in Vienna. Most of the act happens inside a studio set that slowly turns on the stage.
The gold stage
The Vienna stage is a round, glossy floor ringed by tall curved gold fins, with the contest's gold heart at the back.
The rotating room
For about two thirds of the song, Dara is half shut inside a studio that looks like a waiting room, built on a set that keeps turning.
Crab-claw cameras
Fixed cameras stick out from the turning set like crab claws and turn with it, so the TV picture stays locked on Dara as the room spins.
The riot
At the climax Dara steps out of the room, the dancers join her and the fire goes off.
A first win for Bulgaria
516 points, first with both the juries and the televote, and the biggest winning margin ever. Dara lifts the glass microphone under gold confetti.
